Police find Delta County runaway

UPDATE--7/22/14 4:30 a.m.--  Abigail Master has been located in the City of Escanaba.  She called police to turn herself in around 9 p.m. Monday.  Master was unharmed.

The Delta County Sheriff's Office thanks everyone for their assistance.

ESCANABA, MI--   Authorities are asking residents to be on the lookout for a missing/endangered girl.

The Delta County Sheriff’s Office says 13-year-old Abigail Master was last seen in Escanaba Sunday around 6 p.m., but she never returned home.  At this time police consider her to be a runaway.

Abigail is a 5’3”, 135-pound white female with brown eyes and black hair.  She wears black-rimmed glasses. 

Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to call Escanaba Central Dispatch at 906-786-5911.  

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
