Police arrest meth suspects in Gladstone

GLADSTONE, MI--   Gladstone Public Safety officers have arrested two people on drug charges, following a traffic stop in the city. 

Wednesday around 8:20 p.m. officers made the stop on the 1200 block of South Lake Shore Drive. Two subjects were taken into custody on charges of possession of meth components and conspiracy to manufacture meth.

After the arrests police say they went to a different location in Gladstone and found another site containing components used to make meth.

The Michigan State Police K-9 unit, troopers from the Gladstone Post, and UPSET assisted in the investigation.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
