Perkins Park meth suspects charged

BIG BAY, MI--   Two people arrested last week in connection with a suspected meth lab at Big Bay’s Perkins 

Park have been arraigned.   

Taylor Trezona, 21, of Big Bay is charged with possession of meth and possession of a narcotic—less than 25 grams.  Holly Bates, 31, of Muskegon is charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and retail fraud.

State Police discovered the meth lab in a pop-up camper at Perkins Park Thursday while investigating an assault complaint.    

Both remain lodged in the Marquette County Jail.  Trezona’s bond was set at ten percent of $20,000.  Bates’ bond is ten percent of $12,500.

A preliminary exam is set for August 30 in Marquette District Court.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
