Part of CR 480 shut down

NEGAUNEE, MI--   The Marquette County Road Commission is closing a portion of County Road 480 for a construction project starting Monday.

The deck of the bridge in the city of Negaunee will be replaced and maintenance will be performed on its steel beams.  The project is expected to cost about $900,000.

No through traffic will be allowed on CR 480 between Healy Avenue and M-35.  Officials say the closure will last until November 15.
