Ontonagon County suspects arrested for selling, delivering narcotics

ONTONAGON COUNTY, MI--   Six suspects have been arrested for drug-related crimes in Ontonagon County. 

The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team, deputies from the Ontonagon County Sheriff’s Department, troopers from the Wakefield Post, and troopers from the 8th District Hometown Security Team made the arrests Thursday.

The charges total 11 felony counts relating to the sale and distribution of narcotics.  They include four counts of delivery of marijuana, one count of delivery of hydrocodone, two counts of delivery of bath salts, and one count each of delivery of oxycodone, Vicodin, clonazepam, and methadone.

The names of the suspects are being withheld, pending arraignment. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
