Officers seek identity of Marquette hit-and-run driver

MARQUETTE, MI--   Marquette Police are looking for information about a hit-and-run driver.  

Officers say an accident happened Monday around 2:55 p.m. at the intersection of McClellan Avenue and Ridge Street.  A white Subaru Outback was struck by a silver Chevrolet Silverado’ pickup truck with two orange ladder racks.  The suspect vehicle may have passenger side front end damage. 

The driver is described as a thin white male with brown hair who is about 40 years old. 

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call City Police at 228-0400.  

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
