No injuries in Ironwood rollover

IRONWOOD, MI--   The rollover of a dump truck closed an Ironwood road for a time Tuesday.

Gogebic County Sheriff’s deputies say the accident happened around 5 p.m. on Lake Road near Vanderhagen Road.  They say Shane Marheine, 31, of Gaastra, was southbound in a tractor-trailer dump truck belonging to an Iron River construction company when he failed to negotiate a curve.  The vehicle rolled over, spilling debris on the roadway.

Marheine was taken to Aspirus Grand View Hospital, treated and released.  He was cited for speeding.

Lake Road was closed for about 45 minutes while officials cleared the scene.
