No arrests yet in L'Anse Township shooting

BARAGA, MI--   The Baraga County Sheriff’s Office continues to search for a suspect in a drive-by shooting Friday morning. 

Deputies say the incident happened around 11:45 on US-41 in L’Anse Township.  The victim’s vehicle was hit several times by gunfire, but there were no injuries. 

The suspect’s vehicle is described as a black, older-model Chevrolet Impala that was in good condition. 

A statewide notice was put out for the vehicle, which has not yet been located. 

Michigan State Police are assisting in the case.

Anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to call the Baraga County Sheriff’s Office at 524-6177.
