MARQUETTE, MI-- Northern Michigan University is handing diplomas to its annual spring crop of students on Saturday.
Of the 1,023 students eligible to graduate, nearly 880 will walk across the stage at the Superior Dome. That’s the largest number of commencement participants in the history of the school.
The commencement ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m. It will also be broadcast on WNMU-TV, Channel 13.
