Niagara man arraigned for Iron Mountain stabbing

IRON MOUNTAIN, MI--   A Wisconsin man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident at a flea market in Iron Mountain over the weekend.  

Clifford Lemanski, 62, of Niagara was arraigned Monday in Dickinson County District Court on charges of carrying a concealed weapon and assault with a dangerous weapon.  He allegedly assaulted another man at the flea market with a knife on Saturday. 

Lemanski remains lodged at the Dickinson County Jail.  A preliminary hearing has not yet been set. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
