MARQUETTE, MI-- UP Health System Marquette has a new Chief Operating Officer.
Steven Salyer served as Chief Executive Officer of Sebastian River Medical Center in Sebastian, Florida and Chief Operating Officer of Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach, Florida.
Prior to entering healthcare Salyer was a captain in the Marine Corps and served both in peacetime and in combat support operations in Al Asad, Iraq.
Salyer assumes his new role effective Tuesday.
