Name of Iron Mountain stabbing suspect released

IRON MOUNTAIN, MI--   Police have released the names of those involved in a Tuesday night stabbing in Iron Mountain.  

The Dickinson County Prosecutor’s Office has charged Erich Lindlbauer, 31, of Iron Mountain with assault with a dangerous weapon, possession of a controlled substance, and habitual offender—fourth offense. 

The incident happened around 6:10 p.m. Tuesday at a residence on West A Street.  The victim, Joseph Spade, 30, was taken to Dickinson County Hospital, treated, and released Wednesday. 

A preliminary hearing is set for April 16 in Dickinson County District Court. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
