Multiple agencies continue search for Wilmoth and Ruska

DELTA COUNTY, MI--   Police continue to search Delta, Marquette, and Alger counties for two people missing since Sunday evening.

LeeAnn Wilmoth, 28, of Cooks and Eric Ruska, 37, of Rumely went fishing at Chicago Lake in Delta County Sunday but never returned. Wilmoth’s truck and Ruska’s boat were reportedly found at the lake.

Ruska is a sex offender who spent ten years in prison for third-degree criminal sexual conduct and kidnapping. The offense happened in Alger county in 2003.

Michigan State Police and local, state, and federal agencies continue to look for Ruska’s rusty black 2006 Chevy Colorado—Michigan registration BVB 7631. Anyone who sees the truck, Wilmoth, or Ruska should immediately call 911.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
