TROY, MI (AP)-- The Michigan State Police will hold a recruiting seminar for women interested in law enforcement.
The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Troy Community Center, north of Detroit.
Career opportunities in forensic science, canine, special investigations and other state police specialty units will be highlighted.
The agency currently is seeking candidates for future recruit schools. Saturday's seminar will allow women to ask questions about law enforcement.
