More arrests in UPSET meth investigation

MARQUETTE, MI--   Two Marquette County residents are in police custody on meth-related charges.  

The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team has been investigating the manufacturing of meth in the region and were able to identify a couple of suspects. 

The 35-year-old Marquette woman and 36-year-old Gwinn woman were arrested after detectives saw them purchase pseudoephedrine in the City of Marquette. 

Both women are lodged at the Marquette County Jail on charges of conspiracy to manufacture meth. 

Their names will be released after arraignment. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
