PALMER, MI-- A woman declared missing in Palmer has been found.
The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office was notified Sunday that Helen Kontio, 59, went for a walk around 8:45 p.m. and never returned. Search and rescue crews began searching the Palmer area and along M-35, where Kontio often walked.
Around 3:45 Monday morning Kontio was found walking on Snyder Street in Palmer. Investigation revealed she had been at another residence.
Kontio was in good health.
