Missing Ishpeming meth suspect arrested

MARQUETTE, MI--   The second suspect in an Ishpeming meth bust has been found.

Steven Greenleaf, 29, was taken into custody Sunday morning after officers discovered an HCL generator in his apartment, along with other meth-making materials.  Officials say greenleaf was incoherent.  His codefendant, 27-year-old Aimee Fraley, was unconscious on the floor.

Both suspects were taken to U.P. Health System Bell, but left before doctors released them.

Fraley was arrested the next day in Marquette.  Greenleaf was caught around 5 p.m. Tuesday coming out of a relative’s house on County Road 550 in Marquette Township.

He remains in the Marquette County Jail on a $100,000 cash bond.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
