"Michigan Calling" with Governor Snyder

Michigan Governor Rick Snyder will take questions from a statewide public radio audience on Monday, March 9, as part of the Michigan Public Radio Network’s “Michigan Calling” series.

“We take very seriously our obligation to connect the public broadcasting audience to the state’s leaders and decision-makers,” says Karole White, executive director of the Michigan Association of Public Broadcasters. “This is a great opportunity for people to directly question the governor, and for the governor to have some ‘one-on-one’ time with the people of Michigan.”

The program will air from 9-10 a.m. on Public Radio 90 and other stations of the Michigan Public Radio Network.

The hour-long program will be hosted by Rick Pluta, the Michigan Public Radio Network’s managing editor and state Capitol bureau chief.

The call-in number is (866) 255-2762. People are also invited to submit questions via Facebook at “Michigan Calling,” or Twitter using the hashtag #MICalling.

*NOTE* - That day's Radio Reader episode will air immediately after the call-in program, at 10 a.m. Eastern Time
