Men wanted in Ontonagon for car theft

ONTONAGON, MI--   The Ontonagon County Sheriff’s Office says two men are wanted for questioning in connection with a stolen car.

The vehicle—a silver 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix 4-door—was reported stolen from the Strong Dental Center in Ontonagon Monday around 8:15 a.m.  It was later spotted by an individual on Norwich Road in Ontonagon Township.  Inside were two males, one thin and one tall and bald.

Sheriff’s deputies and Michigan State Police tried to locate the vehicle for several hours.

Around 12:30 p.m. someone reported the car was parked within the Village of Ontonagon, unattended.  Deputies had the vehicle towed to the Sheriff’s Office to process it for evidence.

Anyone with information regarding the incident or suspects is asked to call the Ontonagon County Sheriff’s Office.
