IRON RIVER, MI-- Two former Iron County men have been arrested for possession of drugs and a weapon.
WLUC-TV reports two DNR conservation officers were investigating a report of drug activity in Iron River Wednesday when they ran into two men. As they stopped to talk to the former Iron River residents the officers noticed one of the men had a gun in his pocket. After a search of the suspects marijuana was also found.
Iron River Police later discovered the gun had been reported stolen on September 2, and one of the suspects was wanted on a felony warrant out of Wisconsin.
The men were taken into custody and lodged in the Iron County Jail. Their names have not been released, pending arraignment.
