GLADSTONE, MI-- A special election has been set for the recall of three Gladstone City Commissioners.
Hugo Mattonen, Joseph Maki, and David Nemacheck are the subjects of the May 5 recall, which states the commissioners levied an additional 1.8236 mills to the city millage. The three will appear on the ballot with any new candidates.
Anyone interested in commission seats has until February 26 at 4 p.m. to file petitions with the Gladstone City Clerk. Paperwork is available at the clerk’s office between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
