Marquette woman arrested for murder in Minnesota

DULUTH, MN (AP)--   Minnesota police have arrested a Michigan woman suspected of fatally stabbing another woman. 

Duluth police were called to a residence Sunday just before noon on a report of a stabbing. They found the victim, who later died at a hospital.

The suspect, who knew the victim, was found in a rear bedroom. The 29-year-old, identified as Nicole Revello of Marquette, was arrested on a tentative charge of second-degree murder.

The victim has been identified as 46-year-old Lisa Kay Davis of Duluth.

An autopsy is pending. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
