Marquette teens jailed for assaulting juvenile

MARQUETTE, MI--   Three Marquette teens have been taken into custody for holding a juvenile against his will and assaulting him. 

On Tuesday City Police arrested Ricky Constantino-Berry, 17, for unlawful imprisonment and felonious assault and Elijah McCoy, 18, for unlawful imprisonment and assault.

The incident allegedly took place at a residence on the 300 block of County Road 550. 

Both remain lodged in the Marquette County Jail.

Collin Havican, 18, has also been charged with unlawful imprisonment and felonious assault. He was previously charged with carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a Taser in connection with the March incident.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
