Marquette men arrested for aggravated assault

MARQUETTE, MI--   Two Marquette men have been arrested in connection with an assault at Coco’s Restaurant early this year. 

City Police investigated the January 30 incident where the victim was allegedly pushed to the ground and kicked in the head by numerous suspects. 

Tuesday officers arrested Leon Hall, 24, and David Hunter, 21, for aggravated assault.

Hunter and Hall posted $500 bonds and await arraignment. 

The charge is a misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
