Marquette man aiming for Casperson's seat

MARQUETTE, MI-- A Marquette resident has announced he’s running for Michigan’s 38^th District Senate seat.

Adam Robarge made the announcement Saturday at the Ore Dock Brewing Company. The 38-year-old says his intent is to restore true representative leadership to the people of the Upper Peninsula.

Robarge is one of two Democrats that have filed to run against Republican incumbent Tom Casperson of Escanaba. Twenty-Two-year-old Chris LaMarche of Gladstone submitted paperwork to the Department of State March 26.

Adam Robarge will speak more about his platform and intentions during an interview Tuesday morning at 8:20 EDT on Public Radio 90.
