MARQUETTE, MI-- U.P. Health System Marquette is being honored for its organ donation efforts.
The hospital is the recipient of the University of Wisconsin Organ and Tissue Donation Award of Hope. The award recognizes hospitals that meet or exceed “true conversion rate” goals for donation. The true conversion rate measures the percent of medically eligible donors that become actual organ donors.
UPHS-Marquette is one of only ten hospitals to receive the award for 2014.
