Marquette gets 'A' from hospital safety group

MARQUETTE, MI--   UPHS-Marquette has received an ‘A’ for patient safety from The Leapfrog Group.

The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade uses 27 measures of hospital safety data to assign grades to approximately 2,500 U.S. hospitals twice per year. It is peer-reviewed, transparent and free to the public.

UPHS-Marquette was one of 750 hospitals awarded an ‘A’ grade for its efforts in meeting the highest safety standards in the U.S.

Dickinson County Healthcare System also received an ‘A.’
