Man arrested for credit card fraud

MARQUETTE, MI--   A Gladstone man has been arrested for stealing and using another person’s credit card. 

Marquette City Police launched an investigation after the card was used at businesses in Marquette, Gwinn, Gladstone, and Escanaba.  They eventually authorized two felony warrants for Kyle William Genewick, 26, of Gladstone.  He’s charged with larceny in a building and stealing/retaining a transaction device without consent.

Genewick was arrested Tuesday and lodged in the Marquette County Jail.  His bond is set at 10% of $10,000.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
