Man arraigned for firing gun in Gladstone

ESCANABA, MI--   A man is lodged in the Delta County Jail for firing an alleged stolen gun in a Gladstone alley Monday night.

The Delta County Sheriff’s Office says around 10:30 p.m. a deputy responded to the 1200 block of Montana Avenue and made contact with the suspect. After a brief struggle the man was found to be in possession of a .22 pistol reported stolen out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Marcus Kossow, 19, is charged with carrying a concealed weapon, resisting and obstructing an officer, receiving and concealing stolen property—less than $200, and reckless use of a firearm.

He remains lodged on 10 percent of a $75,000 bond.

A probable cause conference is set for March 23 and a preliminary hearing for March 30.
