CHAMPION, MI-- A Marquette hunter reported missing Saturday night has been found safe.
The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office was called to a home on Lake Lory Road in Champion. Around 7 p.m. the family of Miles Mattson, 69, called police when he didn’t return to the family’s cabin after dark.
Around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, Marquette County Search and Rescue located Mattson near Greenwood Reservoir Road. He was in good health.
Michigan State Police also assisted at the scene.
