Ishpeming Police arrest two for having meth components

ISHPEMING, MI--   Two Ishpeming men are jailed on meth-related charges.

City Police say last Thursday around 3:45 p.m. they saw two men walking west on Incinerator Drive from South Pine Street. Both were wearing backpacks, and the road is a dead end leading to a wooded area of the city. It was also raining, which made the officers even more suspicious.

Officers made contact with the subjects and found them to be in possession of components to make meth.

Kyle Dorow, 21, and Logan Martin, 23, are charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and operating a meth lab. They both remain lodged in the Marquette County Jail in lieu of a $100,000 cash bond.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
