Iron River, MI – Officials are still trying to determine what caused the fire that destroyed an Iron River bowling alley Friday.
Firefighters arrived at River City Lanes around 2:10 a.m. and fought the blaze through early Friday afternoon. The building is a total loss, but no injuries were reported.
Firefighters also turned their hoses on the Ottawa VFW Post 3134, which is next door to the bowling alley. They say a wall of the post may have been damaged in the fire.
