Identity of school break-in suspect released

MARQUETTE, MI--   Police have released the name of the suspect arrested for breaking into Marquette 

Alternative High School.

Jeffery Allen Fisk, 36, of Marquette is charged with breaking and entering a building with intent and possession of burglary tools.  He was taken into custody Sunday around 3:15 a.m. after police found him near an open window inside the former Vandenboom School in Marquette Township.

A probable cause hearing for Fisk is set for May 3.  

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
