LAKE LINDEN, MI--   A search warrant executed at a Lake Linden house has netted thousands of dollars in drugs and cash.

The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team, Houghton County Sheriff’s Department, and Houghton Police conducted a joint investigation.  A search Wednesday of the residence on Saw Street uncovered more than $10,000 worth of heroin and cocaine and about $2,000 in cash.

A 35-year-old Flint man and 43-year-old Detroit man were arrested and lodged in the Houghton County Jail on charges relating to the distribution of heroin and cocaine and possession with intent to deliver heroin and cocaine.

The case remains under investigation.
