ESCANABA, MI-- Escanaba Public Safety was called to a house fire in the city Sunday.
Around 5 a.m. firefighters responded to the 300 block of North 14th Street and saw heavy smoke and flames coming from the back of the residence. The fire was knocked down and quickly brought under control.
Firefighters stayed at the scene for about three-and-a-half hours putting out hot spots.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
No injuries were reported.
