Holistic Fair to offer natural healing modalities

MARQUETTE, MI--   People interested in natural healing solutions for a healthy lifestyle are invited to the 15th annual Spring Holistic Health Fair this weekend in Marquette.

The group Natural Connections is hosting the event.  Board member Cindy Engle says the fair will offer massage, chiropractic, natural products, reflexology, natural oils, authors, and presentations on several different topics.

Engle says the holistic approach is becoming better-known as a legitimate healing alternative.

“There’s definitely a lot more things that are being accepted as mainstream or giving people ways of managing their own health care a little bit better,” she says.

The fair takes place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the U.P. SportsPlex at the end of Lincoln Avenue, across from the Marquette Armory.

For more information, go to the Natural Connections Marquette Facebook page.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
