Henry pleads to drug charge

MANISTIQUE, MI--   A Manistique man charged in June with maintaining a drug house has pleaded guilty. 

Shane Henry, 39, and two other codefendants were arraigned on charges of manufacturing over 100 marijuana plants, conspiracy to manufacture over 100 marijuana plants, and operating a drug house.  Henry was also charged with being an habitual offender. 

He pleaded Thursday to an amended charge of possession of an analogue drug.

Sentencing is set for September 25. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
