MARQUETTE, MI-- The preliminary hearing for a Forsyth Township man accused of child pornography and other crimes was adjourned Tuesday, after the defense asked for more time to go over evidence.
Andrew Caron, 43, is charged with ten counts of criminal sexual conduct and 29 counts of distribution of child pornography. His attorney, Karl Numinen, asked the judge to delay the hearing so he could have more time to examine evidence like computer files, DVDs, and forensic exams. The judge granted the request.
A new prelim date has not yet been set, but it likely won’t be held until after the New Year.
