MARQUETTE, MI-- The Marquette County Health Department Continuum of Care Program is holding a ceremony to commemorate World AIDS Day 2017 Thursday.
The tree-decorating event will honor the theme Increasing Impact through Transparency, Accountability, and Partnerships. Red ribbons and red ornaments bearing the names of loved ones lost to AIDS will be placed on the tree, which will be part of the Winter Wonderland Walk at Peter White Library through December.
The ceremony will include a memorial.
Tree decorating begins at 6:30 p.m. at the library.
