ISHPEMING, MI-- Another Coffee with a Cop is taking place in Ishpeming on Thursday.
Members of area law enforcement and the Marquette Disaster Action Team will meet with the public Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at McDonald’s in Ishpeming. Officials say it will allow police and the community to get to know each other better in an informal, neutral setting.
The program aims to advance the practice of community policing through improving relationships between police officers and the public, one cup of coffee at a time.
