Gladstone crashes result in injuries

GLADSTONE, MI--   Four people were injured in two separate accidents in Gladstone Saturday.

Gladstone Public Safety says the first happened around 5:10 p.m. at the intersection of M-35 and North Bluff Drive.  A vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign and struck another vehicle on the highway.  One of the vehicles rolled over. 

Both drivers were taken to OSF St. Francis Hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Around the same time another crash happened at the intersection of US-2 and South Hill Road.  A vehicle northbound on the highway failed to stop at a red light and hit another vehicle crossing the road. 

Both drivers were also transported to St. Francis Hospital. 

A Manistique woman was ticketed for failing to stop at a red light.  

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
