Gas prices drop even further

DEARBORN, MI (AP)--   AAA Michigan says gasoline prices in the state have dropped about 14 cents a gallon in the last week.

The auto club says it's the second week in a row that statewide gas prices have fallen more than 13 cents. The average price per gallon of self-serve regular unleaded gasoline was $3.13 on Sunday. That's about 29 cents less than it was one year ago.

Dearborn-based AAA Michigan surveys fuel costs at 2,800 Michigan gas stations daily. It says the cheapest average price was $2.95 a gallon in the area of Grand Rapids, Muskegon and Holland. The highest average was $3.41 a gallon in the Marquette area.
