Gas prices up again

DEARBORN, MI (AP)--   AAA Michigan says gas prices around the state have gone up by about 10 cents in the past week.

It's the fourth such increase in the past five weeks. The Dearborn-based auto club says the average price per gallon of self-serve regular unleaded gasoline was about $2.62 on Sunday. That's about $1.13 less than the average at the same time last year.

AAA Michigan surveys daily fuel prices at 2,800 gas stations in the state. The club says the lowest cost was about $2.58 per gallon in the Flint area, while the highest cost was about $2.66 a gallon in the Ann Arbor area.
