Fuel spills at Krist gas station in Marquette

MARQUETTE, MI--   Crews are working to clean up a large fuel spill at a gas station in Marquette.

Sunday around 4:20 p.m. Marquette Police, Fire, and Public Works Departments responded to a spill at Krist Oil at 1110 Lincoln Avenue. A large amount of fuel was spilled while a tanker was filling the station’s holding tanks.

Several streets in and around the area are blocked off while crews clean up the fuel.

Police are asking drivers to find alternate routes if travel is needed in the area.
