Forsyth Township man arrested for criminal sexual conduct

GWINN, MI--   A Gwinn man is jailed for sexually assaulting a girl under the age of 17.

Forsyth Township Police arrested Daniel Larson, 40, Wednesday for 1st degree criminal sexual conduct. The charge stems from an investigation into an assault that happened on January 29 at a residence on Crusader Street. Police say Larson was a guest in the victim’s home when the assault occurred.

Larson remains lodged in the Marquette County Jail. His bond will be set at his arraignment.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
