IRON MOUNTAIN, MI-- Some Iron Mountain residents are homeless, following a fire at a house containing four apartments.
The fire was reported Sunday afternoon at the building on 421 Vulcan Street. All occupants were able to escape without injury, although an elderly man was checked out at the hospital.
The fire apparently began on the second floor in the front of the house by a porch. The owners of the building say they intend to repair the damage.
