Few details available on Negaunee stabbing incident

NEGAUNEE, MI--   A stabbing incident in Negaunee has left two people injured. 

WLUC-TV reports it happened Sunday night on the 300 block of North Brown Avenue. Two men were apparently stabbed and a woman assaulted during an argument involving several people.

A couple of people were taken to UPHS-Marquette and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. One person has been arrested.

Police continue to investigate the incident.

No names have yet been released.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
