Escanaba home invasion suspect identified

ESCANABA, MI-- The name of an Escanaba man arrested for rifling through open vehicles and stealing property has been released.

Escanaba Public Safety says officers responded to a report of a home invasion early Saturday morning on the 1400 block of North 20^th Street. They were also called to investigate the breaking-and-entering of a vehicle. They ultimately arrested Harley Finnerty, 25.

Finnerty is charged with second-degree home invasion, attempted second-degree home invasion, breaking and entering with damage to property, and two counts of stealing property less than $200.

Finnerty remains lodged in the Delta County Jail on a $10,000 bond. A probable cause hearing is set for June 23^rd and a preliminary exam for June 30^th.
