UPDATE: Escanaba bust nets 14 suspects

UPDATE:  The following 13 people were arraigned in Delta County District Court Thursday:  Miranda Ronna Wilson, Jaclyn Patricia Snouwaert, Bobbi Jo Godfrey, Terry William Eskofski, Joseph Alan Bonneau, Jacob Isaac Anderson, John Robert Gray, Mitchel Alan Lafave Jr., Joshua William Lockhart, Jamie Lyn Mason, Mitchel James Melin, Cory Alan Mulhern and Brian Edward Olsen.

Charges against a 14th suspect were dropped.

William Elliott and Nathalee Hoque were arraigned on second-degree retail fraud charges unrelated to the drug bust.

ESCANABA, MI--   The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team has arrested 14 people in the City of Escanaba in a felony drug bust.  

The arrests on Wednesday stemmed from multiple investigations by UPSET into the sale and distribution of Buprenorphine—also known and Suboxone/Subutex.  All 14 face charges of delivery of Buprenorphine. 

Detectives say the investigation continues and additional arrests are pending.  The names of the suspects are being withheld, pending arraignment in Delta County District Court. 

Escanaba Public Safety, the Delta County Sheriff’s Department, and the Michigan State Police assisted in the investigation. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
