ESCANABA, MI-- The Upper Hand Brewery in Escanaba is expanding, only six months after it officially
opened.
The project will add more than 5,400 square feet indoors and more than 2,700 square feet of outdoor storage. That will expand the facility’s annual capacity from 5,000 to 15,000 barrels.
Ten, 100-barrel fermenters will be added, along with space and infrastructure to accommodate more vessels in the future.
The project is expected to break ground in July.
